My handsome husband, Chris, and I went to San Antonio this weekend to participate in the Blacklight Run with my younger sister Vanessa and a couple of her friends. While in San
Antonio we ate some delicious food, saw 22 Jump Street and visited some of my in laws.
Before heading out to San Antonio, Chris and I went to a friends' show at Fitzgerald's.

We got dinner at Bernie's Burger Bus before seeing our friend's band play.
We made it to San Antonio late that night and woke up bright
and early to start our adventures.

Here is my beautiful & younger sister, Vanessa. She has lived in San Antonio for several years and loves to show us around the town whenever we come to visit. We decided to head out to the Pearl Brewery Farmers Market that morning.
Then we decided to check out the Chinese Tea Garden...which was a dud.
The ponds were totally empty and looked very sad.

After our 10 minutes spent at the Chinese Tea Garden, my sister wanted
to show us Bird Bakery. This was one of my favorite places!
It is cute, quaint and so unique! And their pastries are scrumptious.
My sister and I are suckers for anything rustic, chic and romantic and this
bakery had ALL of that! <3

I tried this delicious vanilla cupcake with salted caramel icing.
I also treated myself to some homemade croutons and a salted caramel latte.
Everything is delicious!
Everything is delicious!
After checking out the amazing Bird Bakery, Chris, Vanessa and I relaxed before
getting ready for the Blacklight Run. Here is our group before the run.
On Sunday morning we went and had an AMAZING breakfast at FEAST on S. Alamo St.
Chris ordered the DUKE and really liked it.

I ordered this Almond-Pistachio French Toast and it was one of the
BEST versions (and I've tried many) of french toast I have EVER had.
I didn't even add any syrup to it. It really didn't need it.

I also ordered candied bacon (barely seen on the right side of the picture)
and my sister ordered the Swedish Sausage that was breaded and came with
raspberry jelly to dip them in. Everything was mouth watering!

I saw this street in San Antonio and being that my last name is Adams,
I just had to snap a quick pic. :)

After enjoying brunch with my sister, my husband and I went
and saw his Mom, aunt and Grandmother. In the picture
